You can do a lot with the ultrasonic.  I have a patent owned by Alcoa for a 
ultrasonic solder pot for use with aluminum as the metal and molten zinc as 
the solder.  The ultrasonic at 700 F would remove the oxide from the 
aluminum allowing the zinc to wet the surface and make a good joint. 
Process used in making aluminum radiators.
