Hey Mark,
Yes I use one, I swim several times per week, the rig isn't much different 
from my snorkel.
It is a heck of a lot cheaper than my PAPR.
I would never want to coat a beard or moustache with any kind of flammable 
grease while working in my forge.
That's a serious accident waiting to happen.
With all the dust floating around in my forge it would also be a dirt 
magnet.
You use a nose clip with this rig .
Instead of the mask fogging up my face visor, the exhaust is directed down.
I find it necessary to wipe the moisture from the exhaust valve with a towel 
every several minutes
so I don't look like I'm drooling on my chest.
