I also have a line shaft driven smithy. I am having some trouble
with the 25hp Superior engine now, but hopefully I can resolve that issue in
the Spring. Besides the engine cooling system, so far forge blower and 25lb
LG belted up. Post drill and floor drill press are next. Reciprocating
hacksaw and pedestal grinders waiting for more time. Nothing to do with line
shaft, but Hossfeld #2 bender also waiting for time. No days off in
retirement. Thinking of putting on a second shift.

Subject: [TheForge] Line Shaft and Shaper Available

Greetings,

I have a line shaft setup and an old Hendy shaper and a Champion Forge drill
press that are still set up for belt drive. Motor runs. If anyone knows
anyone interested in this stuff, let me know. I don't know sizes of wheels
etc offhand but have some pictures of the setup. I'd like to get fair value
but just looking to off the stuff, I don't have room for a museum nor time
to use the shaper. Equipment is in Phila PA.

Best,
Bill Woolley
