Just checked.
Mcmaster Carr has a coupling nut in plain steel, plain finish.  Their 
website is www.mcmaster.com
Search coupling nuts.
If you don't have a business, you might need to find a friend with a 
business to order them for you.
Get 8-32 thread, because that seems to be the standard screw type for 
commercial drawer pulls, in my experience.
