[TheForge] charcoal question

I have used mesquite charcoal, but it is not a very eco-friendly product.
Charcoal production is supposedly decimating the Mexican chaparral plant
community.

Just get what's called "lump charcoal". It can usually be found most
places where you can get grilling supplies. I've found it at Feed
stores, and even Walmart, in season. I have other friends who tell me
they've found it at restaurant supply places. I use it exclusively for
my smithing.
