Terry,

These school shootings are social issues, did we bring
our children up properly or what? Did we pay enough
attention to our kids while raising them, teach them
proper values, raise them in a wholesome fashion?

Pest control and hunting are a different facet of
life, many of us do these things to continue our
existence. If the ground hog from last summer were to
continue burrowing under my shop building the
foundation would have cracked and maybe sank to one
side. The ground hogs that live under my barn, have
caused the same type of problem, but you could step on
the ground and have your foot sink in to a G'Hog den.
The coyotes in my area go after cats and dogs, but had
some attacked a neighbor's cow in the past. If I drop
a wheel on my tractor into a ground hog den, that can
damage the tractor and maybe flip it on top of me.

Last night I had a venison steak, tasted pretty good.
I never had a steak cut from a student, it may be
fatty from all of the junk food that students eat.
The NIU shooting was very tragic thing to happen, yes
guns were involved. But then again cars kill people,
but they also save people, help people. Guns are a
tool just like a hammer or a knife.

BTW the plates for dinner were made of pewter that I
poured, the bowls were copper that I formed with a
hammer on a snad bag and some of the utinsels were
made from forged steel.

Lets get back to forging
