No, it's not agreed. I don't go out of my way to annoy wild critters-
we have a possum who stops by every night to clean up the cat food.
But, I don't kill for fun- I usually eat what I kill. I was neighbors
with a groundhog for many years- but his hole wasn't a threat to my
horses. However, I learned to cook and eat groundhogs, because there
were some others that were a threat to my horses- and if I get horses
again, I'll kill and eat any future groundhogs that may become a
threat to them.
The local raccoons are usually safe from me. The exceptions are the
ones which attacked my chickens. Killed them when I had to, and kept a
few nasty roosters who convinced them to dine elsewhere.
We're all a part of the world we live in, terry. While mostly I agree
to live and let live, there are times when you need to convince
critters to live alsewhere, or to die.
And, last I heard, terry, you weren't a vegetarian. Letting other
folks kill the meat you eat doesn't absolve you of all responsibity
for their deaths.
