[TheForge] Human rebuild redux

Thanks for the good wishes everybody. I'm bored but
doing well, no complications this go round and we'll
see how it heals this time.

One of my last surgeries got a BMP implant which for
some reason didn't take very well. This time they tried
the OP-1 bone growing juice. The big difference and
what I believe will make the difference is this time
they removed the plates, pulled the non-healing ends
apart, filed the ends down and painted the ends with
the OP-1 before jamming them into hard contact and
replating.

Flexibility is improving daily; the day before
yesterday I couldn't touch my face, last night I could
and this morning I can put food in my mouth. As I'm
sure you guys understand I'm REALLY happy about being
able to put food in my mouth. <grin>

Even though I've had to undergo more surgery than a
perfect fix would need I'm very happy to live somewhere
I have a really good chance of gainning nearly full use
of my elbow. It wasn't that long ago the doc would've
asked what angle I wanted my arm to be for the rest of
my life. Not many years before that and they would've
fixed it right above my elbow. I could've forged a hook
for myself though. <grin>

Like I say I'm bored but on balance not unhappy.

Thanks again,

Frosty

it ain't real.
