hello;
i am still here learning to walk and trying some
small projects.
short update. wednesday, 6 feb 2008, was the 6 month
anniversary of the accident. i am walking better with
a walker. i am still not good with the canadian crutches
i was given to use. according to the hines v.a. hospital
orthopedic doctors i am doing much better than 50 percent
of those with similar injuries. the legal nightmares grid
on and have basically become interlocked to become a new
single super legal nightmare. i will explain that one off
list to those who are interested.
going back to school is on hold due to the legal nightmares.
my dog, harley, and i are counting the days till spring
arrives. we both are tired of this long winter. i have
been doing some drawings and clay models of small projects
i want to tackle come spring. right now i am unable to
tolerate the cold in the shop. the small projects are
all in either just 100 percent aluminum or tinplate.
i have several requests for metal cookie cutters with
no pressure of time. three requests for english muffin
rings. there are several people searching for
cookie/shortbread/butter moulds. some items i am
working on wooden jigs to help with the cold forming.
going to a doctor follow-up/checkup this afternoon
and there is a harbor freight store close by. i am
going to stop there and look at their small hand brake.
looking at their web page for it, it should work
for what i am wanting to do. if i am unable to afford it
i will fall back to the david gingery wooden hand brake.
i have four requests for a medieval cooking set.
all four requests are based on the same woodcutting.
counting the set i would like for myself and a set
for my friends charlie and penny, there are 6 sets
waiting to be made.
i have seen pictures of one a smith in sca has done.
i am not sure when i will get to those.
