Since the folks in our area aren't real used to all this snow we've had, or 
putting traction devices on their cars, I've picked up an amazing number of 
tire chains tossed off cars on the highway.
Instead of opening my own tire chain store, I wonder what kind of steel 
these might be made of?   Maybe something harder than mild steel?   I can do 
a spark test when I can get to my grinder.
