[TheForge] Any smiths near Alfred, NY?

Greetings,
     At a reenactment this summer, I met a young man (~20s) who
attends school in Alfred, NY.  The nearest ABANA group to him is about
1.5 hours away.  Any smiths in or around Alfred that would be willing
to let him try his hand or perhaps give him a lesson or two?

I can't tell you much about him other than he seemed polite, very
determined, and enthusiastic.
