[TheForge] Tinsmith's mandrel attachment to bench

Thanks Mike,  I have one of these mandrels but have never used it.  I was 
expecting a more complicated mounting system.  I guess the essential element 
is a good solid bench.

Don Plummer asked about attaching a tinsmith's stovepipe mandrel to
the bench.  There's now a pic of an original, from-the-factory
attachment widget at:

With marigolds at bottom and bergamot in bloom at upper right.  Giant
thistle and lupin gone to seed at upper left.  Sweet ciceley in
background.

I was correct that the shoulder on the widget is high enough that,
when the nut is tight, the mandrel can slide on back and forth.  I
believe I made a shallow rectangular well in my previous workbench so
that I could optionally lock it down solidly.  But that doesn't seem
to be the intent of the original design.
