Hi Don
If you have access to a slip roll of sufficient width you might try
counter rolling the the screen thru the rolls. If the screen is to thin
try to sandwich it between to sheets of Masonite.
The amount of curve to put in is rather an empirical solution. Try
counter rolling opposite the natural curve as delivered. If you over
shoot, back off the rollers and reverse the crown and try again.
Never tried it on screening, but I have done so on sheet metal. Large
industrial users of coiled sheet metal have a counter roller in the
uncoiler that feeds the shear.
