[TheForge] Stuh-hooopid question time...

Well, I managed to open the splits up and smooshed acraglass into it.
It is now tied up and setting. I seem to have gotten the resin well
into the crack... time will tell. the original finish is intact all
around, so perhaps oil infiltration has been minimal. This isn't a big
deal job. I doubt the gun is worth more than $99 - this is a favor for
a friend. Once set, I will relieve the mating surface and hopefully the
crack will not reopen.
