Someone mentioned Kevlar gloves... I bought several pair from Enco over the web, just a few $ per pair, and they are either handed, i.e. fit both hands, stretchy, good for up to about 900 F or so, but sorta slick. Definitely NOT for welding, they let sparks through! JA
