Forged ones are nice, but when I got mine I just took lengths of pipe and  
welded angle iron on for the hold-down, v side down with a strut to brace,  
thinking it would be temporary and that I'd forge out some nice ones soon.
Five years later I'm still using the originals, ugly but trusty like  
someone I could mention.
