Having spent time in the cancer ward; it seems quite clear that 
she ( god) doesn't care a bit.
As for attitude making a difference...
It may  be that people with the intent to survive have a higher 
survival rate...but that is only correlation, not causation.
Do they intend to survive because they feel strong enough to 
think they have a chance?
I saw folks who fought valiantly all the way down to a painful 
death. They were loved and prayed for and had a great attitude.
I saw folks who were sure they were done for , had given up, 
forsaken god, even cursed god for their fate..go on to survive 
just fine.
Folks who don't know they are being prayed for, thrive no 
differently than those who are not prayed for at all.
As Bruce points out, she does not care.
It seems to me a bizarre sort of hubris that people exhibit in 
thinking their minuscule selves to be so important.

Legit content; Pack up tomorrow to go to the CBA spring conf..I'd 
planned to bring a truck load of tools to tailgate there, but 
with gas at over $4 a gallon, never mind.
