Jerry,
As per Howard Clark's suggestion on this topic a few years back I tried out what he provided:
http://www.gussetclothing.com/
I have had some of these jeans for 2-3 years...Not farm working, but enough stuff between work/home. The relaxed fit/carpenter jeans are my favorite.

Subject: [TheForge] Choices
I was over to the place that I get my Carharts from
today looking for durable jeans and a set of laces for
my work boots.
This is not some philosophical issues. The shoes laces
I had to decide on what color, 4 choices, and round,
flat or jumbo. I got the yellowish brown round laces,
I don't think the ground hogs would really appreciate
stylish shoe laces.
The jeans a different story, several brands, several
cuts, these are all in the heavy duty work styles. I
have already worn out a set of Levi's this summer.
Plus the stuff I buy at Steve and Barry's, K Marts and
Walmarts don't last very long. So I need better heavy
duty ones. Of course there were two clueless young
ladies running the place. They knew what was on sale,
but that about it.
I ended up with 3 pairs of Carhart carpenter style
jeans. The 3rd pair was half price.
Too many choices for clothing just to work in the hot
shop and on the farm.
Jerry
