[TheForge] ABANA Dilema

4,370 was the membership level as of June 2007. If you readjust
the income, it is almost a break-even operation. The Mag's are
contracted, so it's most likely "Fixed Fee", meaning if the membership
numbers go up or down, the Ring and the Blow still cost the same
to produce.

As for the value in ABANA membership, it's a good deal just for
the two publications. I subscribe to one publication for $70 per
year, and I can't apply for a scholarship from them, or find a local
group to visit when I'm traveling.

There's lots of positive reasons for renewing your ABANA membership
if you think about it.

The cost of the two ABANA publications is the single largest budget item
as you have seen here on the Forge from Ries.....he may be correct, but
the 2007 Budget says $189,195 for publications. That's still a lot of pie
any way you slice it.
