[TheForge] Propane Users tank sizes and usage

Ban on 100lb tanks? It must be a local thing, no
problem getting one or many anywhere in AK.
20lb tanks tend to freeze up after an hour or so
running my 1" "T" burner. Another problem with the new
style "safeer" 20lb tanks is the flow restricter tends
to shut off the flow at rates a propane forge uses.
Sometimes you can turn it on slowly and not have them
engage but it's a pain regardless.
A 40lb tank will go several hours without freezing up.
I run a pair of 100lb tanks at home. Once I find out
how much I'll be using I may go with a 500lb tank fro
the shop.
If you're going to get one anyway I'd do it soonest
unless there's a reason not to.
