If I was doing as much as you I would definitely have the #500
installed. I know that Mike Starling has one, or at least did when I
wast there some years back and it was nice. Nothin worse than running
out in the middle of a project...I am/have been telling myself to get a
#100 tank but atill haven't done so...Maybe this forging season.

Folks,

I have a Whisper Dayy and really do like it. I would keep 100 pound
propane tank on hand, because that is about 3 to 4 weeks worth of
propane for me this time of the year. Because of some elbow damage,
moving around a 100 pounder is difficult for me. Plus my house is
elecvated about my smithy and my storage building is on a lower
elevation. I have been using 20 pounders, I seem to have 6 of them. I do
use propane for a jewelers torch and a shop heater, but not that much.

My question is simple you use 20 pounders? or even 30 or 40 pounders, as
oppsed to 100 pound tanks? I am think about having my local Coop put in
a 500 pound tank after I put up my foundry building, would you recommedn
that I do that now and not weight for the new building?

Jerry
