Always. I roast my own coffee and get some interesting comments. My
neighbors on either side of me have bought some.

I have an update. Got my first successful forge weld! Simple bend back
of a 3/8ths square bar. Cut it in half to see the inside and it was
truly welded. There was a small seam on one side of the weld. Control of
the fire is everything. Now to do a couple of thousand more and I should
be moderately proficient.

I've got several lawn mower blades coming my way from friends and I
found a metal supplier in New Berlin Wisconsin (Speedy Metals). Fast
delivery and a reasonable cost.

I cannot scrounge much because I do not drive. Slight vision impairment.
Having to arrange rides for scrounging expeditions is tough. So I have
to resort to purchases.

Well, time for a cup of coffee (Ethiopia Sidamo Dry Process roasted just
past first crack) and plan for forging this weekend.

Bob
