Well, Jerry (either or both), introducing yourself to a List by
screaming at us isn't necessarily the best way to make a first
impression. If, OTOH, the gentleman had asked, "Please folks, can you
trim your posts. We really don't need to read through the same stuff
14 times. " I think I might have been a bit less abrupt.
Yes, many of us DO need to trim our posts. I try very hard to,
although since I've been using Gmail, which tends to bundle repeats up
into " -Show quoted text- " occasionally I forget. Trimming posts is
just proper nettiquette, although occasionally anyone might forget.
But, screaming at people is definitely not the way to induce them to
cooperate.
