[TheForge] Drill Press etc

Woolley,

Of course the main reason I like old equipment is that I can't afford the
same quality of new equipment. Besides if something is 30 or 40 years old
you have a pretty good idea how it is going to hold up over time. With new
equipment it's kind of a gamble until you have used it for a while, and then
if it is junk you are kind of stuck.

IMHO, quality is quality, new or old, what distinguishes to two in my
eyes is price. Don't get me wrong I like old machinery, I think for the
right reasons although sentimentality probably creeps in there.

I've seen these setups and usually dismiss them thinking that the room
they would take up is not worth it, usually 3 phase which I don't want
to mess with etc. In reality, I usually pilot my holes with a drill
size that won't walk off my punch mark ,go to finished size with another
and do a fair amount of countersinking. These setups may indeed serve
me well. I will reconsider. a

Always good ideas here, Thanks guys.
