I have a CRAFTSMAN that does fine until you ask it to drill 3" holes w/a
bi-metal holesaw...Or is this the case with most drill presses?

Al, these sound pretty expensive, but you do know your machinery; appx
how much does the floor model made by Ellis cost? Is Ellis a brand you
sell? We are very satisfied with the equipment Mike bought from you at
Madison.(You did a good job demonstrating it). (-:/>
Bill, I bought an old used Delta in 1955 when they were made in USA. It
still works fine but doesn't have the features the newer ones have. One
caveat when considering a used one: be sure, esp on a floor model, to
check the run-out. It's easy and can save a lot of grief. Just take an
index rod with you upon inspection.
