Jerry,
i have an 80 gallon 5 hp de vilbiss double stage 50%
duty air compressor running a 90 lb old bull hammer.
the hammer beats the compressor every time. can you
run tanks in tandem to store more air?
between that and the sandblaster cabinet it seems you
can never have enough air.
Also about keeping out in cool damp air. I have
replaced the seals in the compressor motor twice. In
the cold garage i found that the aluminum motor body
warmed and expanded away from the seals and created
leaks. better now that i have heat on demand with a
furnace, no problem when i preheat the room before
turning it on.
