Frosty, is DuraLube something I can get at the auto parts store?

If you add a couple few ounces of DuraLube to a gl. of
bar oil it'll greatly reduce friction. I've been doing
this with my saws for years. The bar is slicked up
enough you don't have to adjust the chain after it
warms up because it hardly warms up at all. In fact if
it's a few degrees below freezing snow won't stick to
the bar.

In the "old" days I used Wynn's Friction Proofing but
switched to DuraLube as more effective.

Wrought iron is.

Thanks, Bob. Sid S. also suggested chain saw bar oil
when I spoke to him on the phone a few minutes ago.
What a nice guy he is! He seems very willing to share
what he knows with anyone.
