Art... if you like it, it's art, if you don't it is
something else.
  The 
test or key, as I see it, is if it SELLS. If you get a
LOT of money, it
 
probably is art, if it sells for $25 and looks good in
a double-wide,
 it 
probably isn't.  But money is money and you can call
it what you like.
  
The proof is in the bank account.  May be why there
are lots of 
"starving artists" around.

Van gogh sold only one painting in his lifetime. There
is a record of his sunflowers selling for 85 million.
THis week  a painting of his couldnt be sold at
Sotheby's for 25 million. Tastes may change. Younger
people are less excited by impressionism and there is
a potential recession on the current horizon.  

By the way i think a picasso print would look great in
a double wide.
When people are starving art becomes a luxury to all
but the artist.

I used my new carbide chop saw for the first time
today. Wow, almost no noise, no flying debris or
sparks. Amazing. I had no idea. plus a narrow clean
kerf. Im a slow learner.
