Sorry I wasn't as clear as I should have been...It is 
early..

I have installed the kit and I am at the point of which 
gas to buy for
the best weld possible and basic instruction on using 
the gas addition
for the first time...

I like 75/25 (argon/CO2) for mild steel but there are 
other mixes I hear good things about but this has been 
an industry standard for decades. Being common means 
it's going to be reasonably priced as well.
