Mark, if Lon says anything that contradicts me on MIG welding, I'd go
with what he says. He is way out of my league :).
So Lon, should I get the 251 or the 210? I'm doing a large Kinyon, plus
I've got some other projects that could use a decently large machine.
Including some potential copper welding jobs.
(Sorry if you have already commented on it, I'm not archiving mail from
this list, and I'm lousy with names.)
I do have a stick welder that will eventually be coming home, but my welds
with it always look like they were done by a drunken baboon. I can't even
weld up a quench tank with it that doesn't leak. With the the WP 100 it
took me 10 minutes (mainly waiting on the duty cycle) and didn't leak and
looked nice on top of that.
