Ok....I am in the beginning stages of building an air hammer and I have
a question concerning the hammer guides. Which design is preferred by
those of you that have built hammer (s)? This style guide:

Or the back plate guide like this:

Also, what are the advantages (if any) to the first guide system, as I
am leaning towards that design.

I figured I would ask before getting further into the build. I will post
what I have done thus far once I get the pics up on my site.
