For those considering a power hammer,

The one thing I had to do to help deaded the noise and
the beating of the concrete floor was to build a box
and put sand in it. You need about 9 to 12 inches of
sand under the hammer. 

Plus I use braided cable to tie the hammer in place.
Works great!

I need to do some mods to mine this spring, but than
will take a day at most.

Also put some bolt eyes on your hammer so you can pick
it up with a HF hoist, mine are on the side of the
column. I use a HF load leveler and have an eye on
each side of the hammer. If you put a bolt eye on top
of the hammer and have to pass under a garage door,
you won't make it. That I learned from experience.
