Hmmm, 
Makes me wonder whether it would be feasible to formulate paint with DEET.  DEET seems to make a good paint remover, so it's solvent properties can't be faulted...

You forgot to include bugs. Spray paint seems to act like a magnet for flying
wrigglers determined to commit bugicide in the middle of a perfect paint job.:-)
