Mike,
Good for you. My wife banged out a quick drawing on Illustrator for me, no
dimensions. I called to ask him if he wanted me to fax or e-mail him the
information. I 've decided to not act if I don't hear back from him. He is
a menu developement guy at a group of restaurants that I have served now for
about 5years. I make railings, repair SS kitchen equipment, provide other
misc. metalwork. This guy is new in the system. I am usually hired by other
people. He wanted to know if I could come look at the job at a moment's
notice. When I declined and made an appointment for the next day, I
surprised him like he didn't even remember I was coming. Not only that but
he had on hand 2 pieces of 3/8 plate that he had just "picked up at a metal
shop on my way home cause I say their sign". So I'm getting jerked around,
something I'm not used to with this group. Slippery slope cause I don't want
make waves within the system, but don't want to be led around by the nose
for a $300 job by a guy who is unfamiliar with what I do. Anyway, for a
10x24" grill how do you think $130 sounds. Cheap I hope.
Regards,
Bill Woolley BTW My email is going to be down for a couple of days if
I don't respond
