A down draft exhaust near the grinder will give you the best removal of
the dirty air. If you want the shop to be positive pressure just size
the makeup air fan to move more air than the exhaust fan. You might want
the makeup air fan to be two speed so it will kick into high when the
exhaust fan is on.
I've got a three extra down draft benches that I'm thinking of selling.
Two are six foot long and one is sixteen feet. I'm now using one of my
old spray booths as a grinding room.
