Hi Justin, I found the book "The Artist Blacksmith: Design and
Techniques" [ILLUSTRATED] (Hardcover)
by Peter Parkinson a wonderful and invaluable reference book. I
bought other books, like New Edge of the Anvil, but this book by
Peter has really appealed to me, and how I like to learn.

For inspiration, I love the book Decorative and Sculptural Ironwork:
Tools, Techniques, Inspiration (Schiffer Book for Collectors)
(Paperback)
by Dona Z. Meilach.

I did flip through Lorelei Sims book- Backyard Blacksmith-and will be
purchasing it soon.

Hope this helps.
Marsha.
