Call G.L. Pearce Abrasive Co. 800-938-0021; he has a small ad in "Blade"
magazine and is a hellova nice guy. He has virtually any grit you need
depending on what you want to do. The "garden variety" belts are about $1.70
each and he will mix them for you, ie. 50, 80, 120, 400, etc. He has some
more expensive belts also. I've been satisfied with the products and service
and some full time blade smiths use them exclusively. On the high end,
Norton makes very good belts; a bit expensive, but a lot of people swear by
them.
