Frosty, 

The conversion tips for the big Smith torches seem to work fine but the
fire-up from the fuel saver is inconsistent as compared to acetylene; a
minor inconvenience but it bugs me. 

What kind of service and warranty, etc do you get with the Allstates? Smith
or Victor you can send back for a rebuild.

I have used oxy propane conversion torches of a couple 
different manufactures and can say from personal 
experience they don't work as well as the same rig 
burning oxy acet. It takes more than just changing the 
tip to make propane work properly.

I don't make anything on All-States torches I just have 
one.
