I've been using oxy propane for close to 20 years and
don't like the way it welds but have never said it's
impossible. The only reason I'm adding to Larry's reply
is most of the previous oxy propane torch discussions
on this forum have had my participation.
I'm a BIG proponent of oxy propane as long as it's a
properly designed torch.

It cuts, heats, brazes, solders, etc. way faster and
better than oxy acet. I don't like the way my torch
welds but it will.
If you check out All-States tell Lyle Frosty says hi.
It probably won't do you any good but you never know.
<grin>
