[TheForge] Sighting in Rifles

question. semi automatic or full auto? semi auto is one shot for every
pull of the trigger and can be quite a life saver if you are hunting
feral pigs and end up amongst a mob of them as some people i used to
know regularly used to (pigs were tearing up the place out there). this
is one of the emotive terms used by the anti gun lobby to say that all
repeating rifles are military use only when they are not. in fact many
of the military issue rifles today i would not trust enough to use in
combat as they are too fallible (our new Australian service rifle is a
classic case).

i do agree however with the statement why would you need to buy more
than one gun a month. hell here unless you are on a very good wage you
couldn't afford to buy more than one a year.

but the other aspect to it is this. the reason why the second amendment
was put in there in the first place. it was to give the public the means
of defence against a corrupt govt. which was one of the biggest reasons
for the war of independence and the civil war. most Americans (and
citizens of most countries that are not war torn) have lost sight of
this and forgotten the lessons of their forefathers.

also on the smoking are you going to give up your car cos it puts out
just as toxic fumes as smoking does. if it is one of the new ones with a
cadalictic converter then the first 15 minutes of running before it gets
to full operating temperature it actually puts out far worse chemicals
into the atmosphere!!!! and how many people jump in their car to go just
a few blocks away?
