Eh? I must have missed something because I cannot for the life of me
see how you come to those inferences, based on what Bob wrote.

Ah... OK, I see. Uh... no.

I think you are talking past each other and this is not surprising
because these are perennial hot button issues that seem to have the
magical ability to cause people to abandon their faculties, their reason
in particular. I cannot speak for Bob, but I would bet that he has not
implied anything you assert. But I will agree with you that Americans,
by and large, aren't worth wiping your ass with in terms of putting
their money (or muscle) where their mouths are. I'm probably on of
those. I watch year after year go by as this government imposes ever
tighter and more draconian restrictions upon us as the corporate
fascists take over, yet for all the complaining I see no substantive
action taken. We get what we deserve, and if we as a nation fall fully
into slavery, we will have nobody to blame but ourselves. The shame of
it that had we take n our heads out of our assholes 27 years ago and put
the simpleton Reagan and his fascist c handlers in their places, we
might be enjoying a far better life than we do. And with every year
that passes in self-absorption or apathy, we come closer and closer to
the need to take up arms in order to restore ourselves, if even the will
shall ever exist again to do so. Talking would be a lot easier than
shooting.
