[TheForge] Tripods for outdoor cooking.

Mine are about 6 feet long. I have a chain to adjust the height of the spit
. If the fire needs to be off the ground the fire pit is at the two foot
mark. That satisfies most of the fire marshals.

Hi all,
I need an opinion. I made a tripod with the legs a yard long. It seems a bit
squatty. From those of you who make and use tripods what length do you use?
