What or how many I buy is of no concern to anyone but me. If I wish to smoke
that is my decision. If I wish to wear a seatbelt that is my decision. If I
wish to wear a helmet while motorcycling that is my decision. If I choose
not to do these things that also is my decision. I do not want anyone,
government or otherwise, dictating what they think I need to do or not do.
Our country did not become the great country it once was by giving away our
liberties. Freedom requires constant vigil.

You're way off base.

Smokers imposed upon non-smokers, with lethal (albeit
slow) consequences for a couple centuries.  We non-smokers, with scientific
evidence to back us up, finally prevailed.

I was an ASH member and a GASP member back in the 70's when they were
considered lunatic fringe.  Now states are banning smoking in public places
because they've finally recognise it for the public health menace that it
is.

As for guns, tell me why an honest person needs to buy more than one gun a
month.  Tell me why an honest person needs teflon-coated bullets.  Or an
automatic weapon.
