You're exactly right Jeff.

I sometimes let myself slip into the mode of trying to 
define a subjective term or statement which is as 
counter productive as a semantic argument.

I certainly wasn't implying old texts weren't of value 
today. Heck, they're probably the very ones I used in 
school.
