[TheForge] A challenge to Harry

I have to replace ceramic blanket in my forge  this year but, I built it 
almost 10 years ago. I did however put a hard fire brick on the floor to 
take most of the abuse. I have been really happy with it.
Does the refractory have the same insulative quality as the blanket?
