	I'd say Jim's probably right on this.  The only exception may be anvils 
whose faces are exceptionally hard.  Carbide will cut it, but the 
failure mode of the chip will be a fracturing action rather than 
shearing and you will get a really lousy surface.  Of course, you could 
use it to rough-plane the face and then finish with abrasives. if the 
surface fracturing isn't too rough.  One way to minimize the problem of 
surface fracturing is to take really light cuts, say, 0.010" or even a 
bit less.

	Does this planer support multiple cutting tools?  Just curious.

	Hey Don, give Marshall a call.  He may be interested in it.  I'd take 
it in a heartbeat but I have no outbuildings yet.
