Oh, well, I have one of those but there wouldn't be any need for
forging to make one and m/s would work ok so it was the "other kind" I
didn't know about.

Or just letting the tines hit sod when that depth control is "up",
especially if you're headed down hill.  Peggy was picked up and tossed
over the handlebars and the Troy-Built flipped over next to her the
first year we had it and were learning.  Had to replace one part on
the tiller.  Happily, Peggy needed no replacement parts or
re-assembly.
