Splendid!  If you get really into it, and you use a computer as well,
I *highly* recommend syncing your phone, and experimenting with other
2-way device benefits... this is most often done by either a USB cable
(sometimes specialized/overpriced for the phone's end) or bluetooth
(wireless).
If you're uncomfortable with it and don't have any other help, you
might do best with a nice packaged suite of tools from a local store
where they can explain the hook-up for your phone...
but many folks just need a bluetooth adaptor since their phone is
sufficiently modern but the computer is a couple few years old, so to
speak.  If you're willing, you should be able to get basic transfers
and backups without paying for special software (check the phone mfg's
website).
Oh!  Sorry, the reason this is so important, is that data entry on the
phone is a total PITA!  This way you can get the better part of it
entered from the computer, and be able to make changes on the phone.
This is also a great way to track books/music/movies you're trying to
find, or entering the Odometer and #gallons when you refill, to track
mileage.
