Jerry, there is a publication, "Heavy Equipment Trader" by the same people
that publish "Boat Trader" and similar magazines. Individuals sell stuff
through them. "Long as it's green & has 'John Deer wrote on it", to quote a
farmer friend. I recently sold my 1955 Model M and got a bigger tractor.
Tough beasts; your grand children will enjoy it. Look at others of the same
vintage for prices in your area, and make sure there is a dealer near you.

I ahve a chance to pick up a JD 950 with the rear
mower. It has about 900 hours on it and has been
stored inside a pole barn. The price is about $9,000
for it, what do you guys think of this tractor and
anyone one have a source things like a snow blade and
front loader?
