[TheForge] Coal Forges - lets try this again

Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil (SOFA) has a heavy duty firepot that I think
is hard to beat. It is about 5/8" thick cast with replaceable clinker
breaker and ash dump gate. I have had one for 20 years still with all
original parts.

I have seen some fairly nice firepots made from segments of 5/8" or 3/4"
plate, welded together. There are drawings on the web for these, but I
can't recall the addresses. Grant

Ben,
After the Independence Day Celebration, I will check with my local steel
distributor for some sheet steel.
I need to know if I should buy a fire pot or can I build one?
The blower is easy, I already have a nice 120 vac blower on the shop shelf.
